Remixing and remixing again !!!

I love the 30x30 challenge. You know it ? It's challenging yourself to remix 30 pieces in your closet in 30 different outfits (created by the very clever Kendi). My 30 pieces includes tops, bottoms and shoes only.

This year, I have to admit I'm doing it on necessity (I'm on a shopping diet !!!). But while preparing this, I realised my closet has way more interesting remixing opportunities than I thought. And I'm also pleased to know that the pieces I did splurge on since the beginning of fall, truly were investment pieces that I will get my money worth for.

So tell me, have you ever done the challenge ? What have you got out of it ?

It's very sunny, and very hot this week in Montreal. I mean I could cook an egg outside hot. Layering is not an option in this weather, so I jumped in the arm party wagon and layered some of my favorite blacelets and watch.

This morning, I was prepared to go the the mall to do a little "I'm going back to work in a month" shopping. After two pregnancy's in the past 4 years, let met tell you there's not a lot of my clothes that still fits. So I hopped in my car to find out, the AC doesn't work, and it's about a thousand degrees out there. So instead, I went to my car dealership (my car is only 2 years old, this shouldn't happend, right !)

Now I'm off to paint my nails this lovely color I picked at the drugstore yesterday (the color is Turquoise & caicos from Essie). I think my nails should always look like some kind of ice cream color in the summer.
