So here's what happended since last time...

• We are FINALLY moved in the new house ! Well by move in I mean that I eat and sleep there, and there's still boxes everywhere ! But I am definitely out of my mother in law's house. We are one happy family again !
• Last week the first Target stores opened in Quebec just in time for the Phillip Lim collab. I went pretty late in the day so the whole collection was pretty much gone but I was so happy to get that piece that caught my eye when the lookbook got out. I'm still amazed there was one left, and in my size. I say it was ment to be ! 
• I don't know if you can tell from the pics, but I did cut a couple of inches of hair last week and I'm lovin it ! I did tone down the ombre too, still there but a little less contrasting. Perfect for fall.
• I unpacked my camera, but can't find the battery charger, so until I find it, i phone pics it will be. Hope you guys don't mind too much.
• I am looking foward to getting back to a more regular posting routine real soon !

Sorry for the phone pictures, but my camera is in storage right now. Oh the joy of moving ! But I did get dressed this morning and I decided that I was way overdue for an outfit post. 

I've been pretty much living in those pants lately. They are comfy but still put together enough for work. Today I had a meeting and a lunch date with the hubby, so I decided to dress them down a little  with a simple tee and one of my favorite statement necklace.

Happy friday everyone !

Can you believe it, I'm actually posting an outfit today ! I just had to find the time to show you two of my new favorite things in my closet. 

First, the lovely people of eShakti contacted me to review one of their new Spring collection item. For the first sight I knew that that skirt would be perfect for me. Not only because it is striped, and made of this beautiful cotton jersey (read, will not wrinkle ever, how amazing is this !!!), but also because with eShakti you can get your item fitted especially for your mesurements, so you can get the perfect fit everywhere. It's the second time I had the chance of getting an item from their store (remember that amazing dress, see their spring version of it !!!) and the experience has been amazing on both occasions. 

Okay, now to the clutch. I got this from Oasap a couple of days ago and let me tell you, I was (happily) surprised ! When they said oversised, they ment it !!! But I'm so happy to have a clutch that's big enough for me to use daily. And the color is amazing, hello color of the year (but is comes in many other ones too) ! And I really loved the Oasap store, they offer free shipping worldwide and have a lot of cute stuff at a really good price. 

N.B. The items were given to me for free to review, but I have not been paid otherwise for this review. My opinion is mine and honest, as always !

Hello my lovelies !

No I haven't fell off the surface of the world !!! And I'm definitely not done with blogging. It's been some crazy weeks filled with work overload, my family being sick (many times) and preparing for the holiday ! Sorry but as soon as my family and I gets better, I will be able to get back to a more regular posting schedule !

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite outfits from the last year. I can  now honestly say that for me, 2012 was the year of polka dots, hair changes and getting more and more confident with my personnal style !

Yes, I'm canadian so I'm not celebrating Thanksgiving today. But isn't it a little silly to be thankful only once a year. I try to remember everyday what's in my life that I am thankful for. Today I'm thankful for my hubby who volonteered to be my photographer for this post (for the first time). So what d'yall think, is he hired ? (for the record I am thankful about a million other things, I love my life !)

And did you see my new monogrammed necklace. I wanted one for a while now, and when My Name Necklace Canada contacted me about doing a review, I was so excited. I'm very happy with the necklace. It's just how I hoped it would be, and it has barely left my neck since I got it a week ago ! I'm thinking of getting one for my mom for Christmas. This jacket, I bought for my graduation from law school ! I love it ! It never seem to go out of style and it goes with jeans or with a pretty skirt for work.

And tomorrow morning I'm leaving for my shopping trip (eeeek !!!) and I can't wait to shop till I drop. So expect a "new in" post at the beginning of next week !

Now off to work I go !

It is officially cold here in Montreal and it is now impossible to get outside without proper cold weather accessories. This hat will definitely one of my go to all winter long !

On an other note, thanks for sticking with me last week, I've been sick most of it, then I got a nerve pinched in my neck, wich still hurts and is giving me bad headaches, but I'm getting there ! So I guess I'm saying is sorry for the lack of posts, but sometimes lifes gets in the way ! Love you all !

I love Forever 21. I mean really, why spend 200$ on designer floral jeans, jeans that in a year or so, you're probably won't want to wear anymore, when you can pay 25$ for a very similar pair ? And the husband, who was just about to complain that I bought new jeans couldn't after I showed him the pricetag. Double score !

As I told you before, I've got a shopping trip planned in novembre, I'll be going to Albany (NY) for some retail therapy before the holidays. Although I'm a little bit obsessed with J Crew, I've never set foot in an actual J Crew store (there's none close to my home). Maybe while I'm there I'll get that skirt, wich definitely is one of my fave fall pieces, in an other color ! Who knows !

 I have some confessions to make

• Until a couple of days ago I didn't have any chambray shirt in my closet, and now I can't help but to wear it all the time ! Such a versatile piece I was missing on !
• My bangs are too long, and my hairdresses seems to be on vacation or to have vanished. The easy fix, style them as a side bang !
• I wear that Ily Couture pave bracelet all the time, and by that I mean all the time !
• I'm anxiously waiting for the UPS guy that is suppose to bring me my order from J Crew, and the wait is killing me !
