I love the month of may, because when it comes to birthday, I always get super excited. And this weekend is mother's day, and next weekend is my actual birthday, yeah ! Even if this year what I really want is to find a new house so I can finally concentrate on packing and moving my little family to a new home (closer to my older son's school), I decided I should indulge in a little materialism.

Lets talk about that scarf... obsessed !!! I love Theodora and Callum's scarves, they are my favorites. I bought one last year as a bday gift to myself (worn HERE and HERE) and I think I might just make it a tradition. They are huge in size, but still lightweight and can be tied in so many different ways !

As for those flats from Tieks, I heard that they are the most comfortable ever, and I do need to get some comfy flats. I take the commute to work everyday and I walk a lot. My go-to flats are ruined to a point of no return (I've worn them until they were holes in the soles, it's not even funny !) and they are discontinued. Now I just need to pick a color !!! So tell me do, you have/love them ?

I may be a little cliché, but I do love pastels for Easter. It may be like floral for spring, but I can't help myslef. This is what I wish I would be wearing today, pretty feminine details and classic lines.

Oh my did I missed the sun ! Yesterday was the first day in about two weeks that the sun was shining in Montreal and let me tell you, it was an instant moral boost !

Sorry about not posting much lately, I'm currently in the process of selling my house, and we've been having home visits for the past two weeks almost every other day. So beside making shure the house is sparkling clean for the visits, and the actual visit, my time to blog has been pretty much not existant. But if I do sell and my new projects turns out okay, I will have some fun home DIY project to do for the new house, and of course I will share all of it with you !

NYFW Fall 2013 favorites

When fashion week is going on, I always enjoy looking at all the amazing runway looks online on style.com. So here are some of my favorite collections from designers that to me, never disappoint:

Alice + Olivia

I always love Alice + Olivia's collections because they are always girly and fun. This collection in particular is very rich looking with lots of textures and beautiful deep colors. I would definitely love to wear all of those looks, but I'm definitely lusting over that plaid shift dress paired with the amazing oversised coat. So chic !

Kate Spade New York

Kate spade is always fun and and colorful. Were most designers went with a very rich color palette with deep jewel tones, I love that Kate Spade always put some color in her collection, even in the fall. I'm especially loving the little (or not so little) pops of yellow, wich is one of my favorite color.

J Crew

And finally, saving the best for last, J Crew. If you're been around here for just a little time, you know that I have an undying love affair with J Crew. And their new collection is simply to die for. All the patterns, textures and neutral shades mixed with pops of bright colors like cobalt, orange, burgundy and pink, makes for the perfect fall looks. I actually want to wear it all right now !!!
