Wedding season is in full bloom ! I have attended quite a few in the past and I have developed some kind of uniform for these events and I decided to share my tips on the matter!

I love pastels for summer (groundbreaking, I know). I especially love to mix and match all of them together. And a fun way to accessorize when wearing a printed dress, instead of wearing a statement necklace, choose nice statement earrings and beautiful bracelets instead.

I like to buy dresses what I will be able to wear to more than one event. I hate to pay for something and wear it only once. To me that's a total waste of money. That's why I usually will pick a simple dress, that I can dress up for the event, and dress down for work. In that case, I would go crazy with the accessories with a fun statement necklace and a fun clutch (then wear the clutch again with skinny jeans, a blouse and heels for a night out).

This week I have been enjoying the warm weather in Montreal. It seemed like we skipped spring and got right into summer. Now we are back to more usual spring weather and I am back with my boots and jeans, but I am looking foward to fun and practical summer outfits.

I love the month of may, because when it comes to birthday, I always get super excited. And this weekend is mother's day, and next weekend is my actual birthday, yeah ! Even if this year what I really want is to find a new house so I can finally concentrate on packing and moving my little family to a new home (closer to my older son's school), I decided I should indulge in a little materialism.

Lets talk about that scarf... obsessed !!! I love Theodora and Callum's scarves, they are my favorites. I bought one last year as a bday gift to myself (worn HERE and HERE) and I think I might just make it a tradition. They are huge in size, but still lightweight and can be tied in so many different ways !

As for those flats from Tieks, I heard that they are the most comfortable ever, and I do need to get some comfy flats. I take the commute to work everyday and I walk a lot. My go-to flats are ruined to a point of no return (I've worn them until they were holes in the soles, it's not even funny !) and they are discontinued. Now I just need to pick a color !!! So tell me do, you have/love them ?

Okay, I know this blog is my positive place, but today, I need to vent a little. Last week has been filled with highs and lows. I have finally sold my house but I haven't found a new one yet. I have to leave mine on June 28th, and I'm afraid we are not going to find the right house in time ! I'm kinda freaking out here you guys ! So I'm hoping for an amazing solution, or at least, an amazing outcome !
